Giorgio by Giorgio Beverly Hills was launched in 1981 by Fred and Gale Hayman with a fanfare normally reserved for a major perfume house launch, and never before seen for an independent boutique brand. Giorgio Beverly Hills is an American brand named after the luxury boutique whose sunny yellow and white striped awning inspired the perfume's packaging, the fragrance of the same name would go on to become one of the most iconic fragrances of the 1980s. Love it or hate it, the fragrance captured the public's imagination and was perfectly suited to the era's glamorous and over-the-top fashions. Giorgio Beverly Hills was the first perfume to be promoted with scent strips inserted into magazines. La Perla

La Perla, launched in 1987 in a curvy bottle echoing the female form, was the first fragrance of the Italian lingerie design house. La Perla is Italian for “the pearl”. It is a classic floral fragrance opening with spicy notes of citruses, coriander and cardamom with a floral and sweet heart of rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and iris with a hint of honey and pepper. The dry down is made of trees and resins such as patchouli, vetiver, sandalwood and benzoin.

Lalique was the first fragrance of the design house of Lalique and was originally presented in 1992 and then later re introduced in 2001. It is a fine floral scent and apart from itself being a high quality fragrance, it has the distinction of being reissued every year in a new limited edition flacon. These flacons have a following of avid collectors as they are made from Lalique crystal. Once the required amount has been produced each year, the mould is never again used.
